TAMPA- The time has finally come for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to unveil its highly anticipated new look uniforms, as the fan base has been clamoring for a change since the inception back in 2014.

Since the franchise introduced new uniforms to start the 2014 campaign, many throughout the fan base never became fully in love with the new look the Buccaneers tried to instill. With many poking fun at the digital clock-like numbering on the uniforms, the Buccaneers went six seasons with the look and finally decided enough was enough.

The Buccaneers unveiled the new uniforms over Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and reactions to the new look have seemed to be mostly positive. With Tampa Bay bringing in new quarterback Tom Brady, the Buccaneers have timed everything just right for the change.

Tampa Bay unveiled the uniforms just over a week ago and showed off a somewhat throwback look with red, white and all pewter with the numbers outlined in Orange. The new uniforms resemble a look back at the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl Era jerseys. Many legends have donned the uniforms that were introduced, as players like Derrick Brooks, Warren Sapp, John Lynch, Ronde Barber and a host of others were key contributors to Tampa Bay’s lone world championship.

Amongst the players that were featured in the unveiling promotional video was linebackers Lavonte David, Devin White and wide receiver Chris Godwin. The Buccaneers have the uniform tops available in colors red, white and pewter online and the top jersey seller right now is that of Brady’s No. 12. Godwin gave up his No. 12 and will now wear the No. 14 for the 2020 campaign. The jersey tops are now available for sale at NFL.com or Buccaneers.com.
