“Steelers” 2018 TBXFL Superbowl Champs Boys2Men

On Friday June 8, 2018 Hernando Sun attended the Boys2Men Awards Banquet, held at the Women's Club on Main Street in Downtown Brooksville. Ms. Kimberly Kincade and Ms. Sherri Collins, born and raised in Hernando County and have strong ties in the community. They came together five years ago and started Boys2Men Foundation Incorporation nonprofit. Boys2Men is a youth football and cheer camp.

Quesadillas with Pico de Gallo

2 tablespoons olive oil
12 large flour totillas
3 cups grated cheese
2 lbs skinless chicken breasts
2 pkg taco seasoning
butter for frying
below options
1 yellow bell pepper seeded & sliced strips
1 bell pepper seeded & sliced strips
1 large onion sliced
Pico de Gallo
3 red onions
2 cups cilantro leaves chopped
12 roma tomatoes
2 oz. white vinegar
salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon fresh diced garlic

Bleacher Talk Play by Play: NCT v. Bolles in Baseball 5A State Semifinal

On Thursday May 31, 2018 Nature Coast Technical baseball team made it to the 2018 FHSAA 5A State Semi-Finals game #1. Bolles Bulldogs vs Nature Coast Sharks. This time I'm giving you the play by play from my home watching it on live stream. My dogs looked at me kinda weird as I cheered throughout the game. The Hernando Sun congratulates the Sharks for making it to state.

Now on with the game play by play. Play Ball.... Sharks are up first to bat.

Easy Chicken Milanese

Boneless chicken breast (sliced thin)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 cup flour
1 cup Seasoned Italian bread crumbs
Vegetable oil for frying
lemons cut into wedges
Use a dish for each, beaten eggs with salt and pepper, flour and another for bread crumbs.
Dip chicken in flour first, shake off excess, dip into eggs then into bread crumbs. Place on plate and start same on next piece. (note: do not stack on each other).

MAY 8, 2018- It's turned out to be a nice evening at the Stead for the 2018 FHSAA 6A Softball Championship Regional Semifinal game between Crystal River and Springstead High Schools. The fans are showing up for the game, going to be a full house tonight. Nice breeze and the smell of fresh cooked french fries in the air. Everyone stands for a moment of silence for the lives lost at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and our National Anthem. The pitchers for tonight's game for the Stead Kayla Cruz and Crystal River Alysa Cecere.  Springstead takes to the field first.

Bleacher Talk Play by Play: Bears v. Cobras playoff game

It's May 1, 2018, a great day to play ball here at Nature Coast High School. The sun is shining and the breeze feels just right. But, it might be a problem for the batters, they will have to hit right into the wind. There is a moment of silence for the shooting victims and families of the Stoneman Douglas High School February 14, 2018 shooting. Hats off for the National Anthem and now they are ready to play ball!! Central High Schools take on Hudson High School today for a neutral playoff game.

Bleacher Talk, Play by Play: Softball District 6A-6 Championship Game

The bleachers are filled to capacity on April 27, 2018 at the Stead. Fans are eager to see the 6A-6 District Softball Championship game between Springstead Eagles and Crystal River Pirates.  Both teams came to battle it out for the win.

Pitcher for the Stead is Sr. Kayla Cruz and behind home plate is catcher Paige Pfent. A duo to be reckoned with.  Let's Play Ball!!
