Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., or thereafter, in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, Council Chambers, located at 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville, Fl. 34601, to consider Resolution No. 2023-18. The purpose of this meeting is to consider a proposal for a street name change for a portion of Veteran’s Ave. from Benton Avenue to S. Broad Street (US 41) to be renamed Kirshy Ave.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. All persons wishing to be heard, please take notice and govern yourself accordingly. You are further advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at these proceedings, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
