NOTICE OF INTENT TO VACATE RIGHTS OF WAY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County Florida, will hold a public hearing on June 22, 2021 at 9:00 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers, Room 160, Hernando County Administration Building, 20 North Main Street, Hernando County, Brooksville, Florida, to consider and determine whether or not the County will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and public in and to the hereinafter described portion of right-of-way:

A portion of that platted right-of-way lying between Blocks 4 & 9, MAURINE PLACE according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 16, lying within Section 14, Township 23 South, Range 19 East, Hernando County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows:

For a POINT OF BEGINNING commence at the Southeast corner of said Block 4; thence S.00°29’43”W. along the East boundary of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 14, a distance of 50.00 feet to the Northeast corner of said Block 9; thence N.89°40’49”W., along the North line of said Block 9, a distance of 302.81 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 9; thence N.00°29’43”E., a distance of 50.00 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 28, Block 4; thence S.89°40’49”E., along the South line of said Block 4, a distance of 302.81 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 0.35 acres, more or less.

YOU HAVE A RIGHT to appear and be heard at the public hearing in the County Commission Chambers, Room 160, Hernando County Administration Building, 20 North Main Street, Hernando County, Brooksville, Florida, and/or to send a written objection to the Hernando County Development Department, 789 Providence Blvd, Brooksville, Florida 34601.

YOU ARE FURTHER ADVISED that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board of County Commissioners, with respect to the subject matter of the hearing, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purposes, that person will need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
