Phyllis Mary Long, 95, passed away peacefully in Brooksville, FL on December 3, 2018. She was born Dec. 4, 1922 to Anthony & Pearl (Arendt) Johnson in Dunkirk, NY. She grew up with a love of the outdoors, and as a teenager she became the first female lifeguard hired by the state of NY. In 1945 she married Maxwell Long and together they raised 2 children.
Phyllis was an art educator for over 30 years, and she herself was an artist. She was well-known for her paintings, her natural stone & glass mosaics and her beautiful stained glass.
Phyllis was predeceased in 2016 by her husband of 71 years, Maxwell Long. She is survived by her son, Douglas G. Long, M.D. (Margaret) of Port St. Joe, FL and her daughter, Michaele K. Bangs (Daniel) of Skaneateles, NY. She also leaves her grandchildren, Nathaniel K Long, D.O. (Tracie) of Dublin, OH, Heather K. Welch (Lonnie Feaster) of Ormond Beach, FL, Lance P Bangs (Corin Tucker) of Portland, OR, and Shannon Hiltabrand (Blake) of Wilmette, IL and 8 great-grandchildren. 
A memorial service in her honor will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mariner United Methodist Church in Spring Hill, FL. Interment will be with her husband at the Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to her church, Mariner UMC at 7079 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609.

Cheryl Winfield -It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl Winfield of Brooksville, Florida announces her passing after a long battle with breast cancer. Shes in celebration with Jesus as of Tuesday, December 25th 2018, at only the age of 57. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her three children Melissa (Brian) Bolcar, Charles Edward Winfield  and Jessica Marie Winfield, followed by her four grandchildren Casey, Carter, Conor and Kayla, Forever companion Dennis Holder, Dear brother and sisters  Brian Bradley, Betsy Bowers, Michelle Niehaus, father of Cheryl’s children Thomas Winfield and dear adopted son Indy Basaldua.
Survived by numerous others including members of the Cree Nation.

She is predeceased by her husband Carl O’Neal and  son, John O’Neal.  Elizabeth is survived by her children:, Rebecca, Carla (Ken), Nancy (Mark), Peggy (Ed), Mary (Sean) of Brooksville, Danny,  Carl, Randy,  (Lisa); 21 grandkids; 36 great-grandkids; and 18 great-great grandkids.  Src; Brewer

Paules Susan Doubleday, age 77, of Brooksville, passed away on Thursday, January 3,  2019. She is preceded in death by her husband Elwood “Woody” M. Paules Jr.  Susan is survived by her sons: Jay (Jill), Glenn (Sherri); 6 grandchildren,  and  2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-11:00am, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Eden Baptist Church and  funeral services at 11:00 am. Mrs. Paules will be laid to rest next to her husband at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
