Cheryl Ann (Cheri) Martin Garman, born November 6, 1953, was called home by her Lord on July 21, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family and dear friends.
Cheri was born in St. Petersburg, FL and grew up in Brooksville, FL where she married and raised her children. She later moved to Jacksonville, FL, working in client services until her retirement. After retirement, she and her sister began a successful and loved pet sitting service. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was followed closely by her passion for anything Florida State Seminoles and Tampa Bay Bucs.
Waiting with the angels to welcome her home are her parents, Jack and Joy Martin, and her sister Jacki Martin.
Left behind to celebrate her amazing life that was full of faith, love, and a wonderful sense of humor are her sisters, Dede Siciliano and Beth Langford (Lawton); brothers, Ken Martin (Jennifer) and Jamie Martin (Sharon); children, Heather Elliott, Holly Garman, and Jake Garman (LaDonna); grandchildren, Reily Elliott, Bailey Elliott, Marcus Waddy, Tyson Garman, Joey Elliott, Kelssey Elliott, Parker Garman, and Payton Garman; and great grandchildren, Rykir Kirshy, Brooklyn Kirshy, and Marli Garman. Along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. And the wonderful friends she loved so much.
A Celebration of Cheri’s life will be held at the Beach Church Chapel, Jacksonville Beach, FL, on August 12 at 2:00 pm, followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Beach Church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org – 800-227-2345) or Community Hospice (www.communityhospice.com/give).
