LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS
• Deputies responded to:
o Armed Robbery by Sudden Snatching/Armed Robbery/Battery x2 – 13263 Lawrence Street/Spring Hill – Male and Female who were living at this address advised that while they were sleeping, their roommates (armed with a firearm) kicked in their bedroom door and robbed them/beat them – Active investigation.
o Miscellaneous Burglary – 7188 Poppas Pass/Ridge Manor – Shed burglarized – Lawn mower and air compressor missing – Active investigation.
o Commercial Robbery – Dollar General/3449 Mariner Boulevard/Spring Hill – Media Release forthcoming.
o Vehicle Burglary – 27050 Anthony Avenue/Brooksville – Occurred on 06-13-19 – Active investigation.
o Aggravated Assault/Felony Battery/Aggravated Child Abuse/Felony Witness Tampering – Weeki Wachee – Active investigation – Arrest/Male.
o Domestic Battery by Strangulation/Domestic Battery – 8400 Philatelic Drive/Spring Hill – Male and Female reside together at the address/She fled with three children after being battered by the male – Arrest/Male.
o Stolen Vehicle – 10380 Quality Drive/Spring Hill – Sometime within the last month, someone stole the 2006 black Kia Spectra from the parking lot of the apartment complex – Active investigation.
o Shooting – 4384 Crescent Road/Spring Hill – Female called from this address advising that a male relative had been shot or shot at while in his vehicle/ Male was not present when deputies arrived – A second call was received from a local hospital regarding a Shooting (same Shooting) – A male (different male) arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound – This male’s rendition of the story was different from the first one – Active investigation.
o Shooting into Occupied Dwelling – 34917 Punch Road/Ridge Manor – Resident found a bullet inside her shower – Occurred on 06-08-19 – She wanted to check with neighbors before reporting the incident.
o Residential Burglary – 16472 Cortez Boulevard/Brooksville – Window unit air conditioner removed – Occurred on 06-11-19 – Just reported.
o Retail Theft – Walmart/13300 Cortez Boulevard/Brooksville – Male was observed by loss prevention scanning small items then bagging power tools – After paying for only the small items, the male attempted to leave the store – Arrest/Male.
o Battery – 1451 Giles Avenue/Spring Hill – Ex-boyfriend attacked new boyfriend – Arrest/Male.
o Domestic Battery – 8361 Belmont Avenue/Spring Hill – Intoxicated husband punched wife in the nose because he felt that she did not do enough for him for Father’s Day – Arrest/Male.
o Aggravated Assault – Broad Street/Candlelight Boulevard/Brooksville – Road Rage – Two drivers engaged in road rage – One pulled an ASP on the other/Other pulled a BB gun – Active investigation.
o Grand Theft Auto – 19476 Wildwood Drive/Brooksville – Male drove a friend (who just got out of prison) to Brooksville from Bradenton – When they arrived at the destination and got out of the car, the friend got back in and took the car – The car was located but the friend was not – Warrants forthcoming.
o Grand Theft – 7-Eleven/18226 Powell Road/Brooksville – Four black males (wearing hooded sweatshirts) entered the store – While the clerk was on the sales floor, the males jumped the counter and stole 40 cartons of cigarettes – The males also attempted to open the cash drawer but were unsuccessful – The males then fled southbound on Broad Street – Active investigation.
