Returning to apologize is still trespassing

Arrest Summary: On 04/05/2020 at 0713 hours, I was dispatched to Camphor Dr. in reference to a Trespass.

Upon arrival, I made contact with the property owner, Theresa. Theresa advised that the defendant was on the back porch. I walked around the back and observed the defendant standing by the rear sliding glass doors.

It should be noted that the defendant was previously issued a Trespass Warning for this residence, —- Camphor Dr. under case #2020-10712, on 04/05/2020 at 0620 hours, at the request of Theresa. When I made contact with the defendant, I advised him that he was just trespassed from the property earlier this morning. The defendant acknowledged that he was not supposed to be there, but he came back to apologize to Theresa.

The defendant was taken into custody and transported to the Hernando County Jail without incident for Trespass After Warning. The defendant was issued a misdemeanor court date of 1 May 2020 In Courtroom B at 0900 hours and given a bond amount of $1,000.00.
