Hernando County Fire Rescue units are currently operating on a five+ acre brush fire off of Seely Lane. Seely Lane is off of Star Road in Brooksville, just north of the High Point development. The fire is contained, and units will remain on the scene for an extended period of time. No rain, low humidity, and wind are contributing to a higher fire threat.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with aerial surveillance.
