Notes From the Museums: Summer Hours

You’ve probably noticed that the amount of traffic on the roads has thinned out now that visitors have headed north. Some of the Museum’s docents or tour guides have taken the summer off, too. So, the Museums will now swing into a summer hours schedule. Also, note that the Schoolhouse and Depot will be closed for the month of August when the annual cleaning marathon takes place! The May-Stringer will be open in August. The major house cleaning there is done at the end of October after the Haunted House event. Special tours may also be arranged by calling 352-799-0129 and leaving a message.
