Marine Devil Dogs of Pound 230 Join Forces to Complete Their Mission

During the week of Jan. 22, The Military Order of the Devil Dogs, Pound 230, Florida Pack joined forces with Marine Corps League Detachment 708. The Military Order of The Devil Dog Fleas and Marine Corps League 708 Auxiliary Unit 137 members once again contributed animal chow to Hernando County Animal Shelters and Rescue/Sanctuaries operated by the County, ASPA, and 501 (c) Corporations. This year, the Joint Departments contributed 1,020 pounds of dog and cat chow to shelters and rescues in our county.
This event is the 2nd Annual donation drive spear-headed by the Military Order of The Devil Dogs, Pound 230. Members of Detachment 708 departments participated in donating dog and cat food, which helped Pound 230 achieve the poundage mentioned above. All are members of the Marine Corps League based at Marine Corps League Detachment 708, at 8405 Sunshine Grove Rd., Brooksville, Florida.
