Spring Easter Fest

The Easter holiday will be celebrated in grand fashion at Great Life Church, where the church will be hosting its annual “Spring Fest” on Saturday, March 30th. Spring Fest 2024 is part of an annual Easter weekend outreach event that reaches thousands of families in Hernando County and beyond. This event is set to feature 50,000 eggs and a whole lot of affection for children and families.

Spring Fest is happening Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Great Life Church, 14494 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. This daylong seasonal celebration will feature egg hunts, bounce houses, face painting, a pet zoo, games and food trucks.

“Our focus is on creating a safe, life-giving, and family-friendly experience for every person who steps foot on our parking lot this day. At Spring Fest, we will have multiple attractions, such as inflatables, live farm animals, butterfly encounters, face painting, all-day egg hunts, food trucks, and more,” read the information. “We are thrilled to be able to offer all-day egg hunts for all age groups, including a sensory-focused egg hunt option that will be a memorable time for all. Guests can view all egg hunt times and more details about attractions at greatlifechurch.com/Easter.”

Beyond being a popular yearly occasion at Great Life Church, Spring Fest is a fun, family-friendly happening for the whole community. “This event is free admission and is open to the entire community,” read the information.

Pre-registration is available online at greatlifechurch.com/Easter. “Our vision at Great Life Church is to host events that enable us to share the love of God with our community, and Spring Fest is a great way to do that,” read the information. “Our goal is to create an environment where family and friends can gather and celebrate the Easter season. We hope people will leave full of joy and experience quality time with their family and friends.”

Spring Fest is one of several special events planned at Great Life to celebrate the Easter holiday. On Friday, March 29th, in person and online at 10 a.m., the occasion of Good Friday will be celebrated with Pastor Steve & Ellen Bilsborough for a service intended to kick off Easter Weekend at the church.

“Let’s reflect on the saving power of Jesus as we believe in healing and miracles. We believe this service will be a time of healing and restoration in the lives of so many,” read an event notice. “Our live service is available on YouTube Live, Facebook Live, the Great Life App, and greatlifechurch.com.”
Two powerful Easter Resurrection services are planned at Great Life Church on Sunday, March 31st, at 9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m., in person and online.

All-day egg hunts at the Spring Fest will be scheduled as follows:
10:30 a.m.—0–2 years old egg hunt
11:00 a.m.—0–5 years old sensory egg hunt
11:00 a.m.—3-5 years old egg hunt
11:30 a.m.—6-8 years old egg hunt
11:30 a.m.—6-12 years old sensory egg hunt
12:00 p.m.—9–10 year old egg hunt
1:00 p.m.—11–12 years old Egg Hunt
